My final Sunday .............

over at Sunday Stamps.  I am of course using Stampin UP products in this challenge.

I have loved being a guest designer this month.  Thanks again to Holly and everyone else for making me feel so welcome.

I would love to come back again.

Anyway here's the final challenge for November ........ can you believe it, in less then 1 month Christmas will have been and gone and we will be looking forward to 2015.

Anyway with that in mind ...... and the fact that you may be Christmas'd out I focused my colours for this sketch on Autumn.

Here's the sketch

Its challenge SSC 90

Isn't this just a great sketch.  Now I love being able to create layers, so this was perfect.

Firstly tho, I chose my colours ........ for this card I have used Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Pumpkin Pie.  Not normally my colours but I used the Colour Coach to challenge myself even more.

Firstly I stamped the images in Chocolate Chip and Real Red, using the Bordering Blooms Stamp Set.

Then using the Banner Punch I cut the strips into banners.

Before matting and layering onto the cardstock.

I loved this effect so much I even put them inside.  Isn't it nice to be able to decorate the inside to match the front.  Makes everything just that little bit more special.

As always all the products used today can be purchased in my online shop.

So pop over to Sunday Stamps and enter into this fortnight's challenge.  I will be popping over to check out everyone's entries.

Don't forget to order your supplies today, because for the last time this month I am giving a free gift to everyone who places an online order of £50 or more today.

Big hugs

All is calm convention table cutlery holder goes to a wedding with Crisp Cantaloupe and Calypso coral

Morning everyone.

Do you remember the gorgeous pictures of my 2014 convention table.

Here's a close up of the cutlery holder

Isn't this just cute.  Lots of people have asked how I made this.

I was also asked to do an inspiration station at our team training on Sunday with the lovely Michelle.

If you would like to be part of an amazing and creative team then do get in touch or go to

We discussed what she wanted me to do and we decided that recreating the above table would be great, but for another occasion.

So I have remade them, in lovely Wedding colours.

Crisp Cantaloupe meets calypso coral.

I used the box board for the table favours and the napkin rings this time.

The gorgeous flowers have been inked in matching colours and to set of these gorgeous tones i have used Pistachio Pudding and gold glimmer paper.

And here's what you need and the instructions.

CUTLERY HOLDER

Ingredients:
Park Lane DSP
Calypso Coral Cardstock
Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock
White Organza Ribbon
Glue Dots
Tombow
Dimensional

Tools:
Scoreboard
Trimmer
Envelope Punch Board

Instructions

Cut Calypso coral cardstock to 10” x 4”.    Using a sponge edge the cardstock with calypso coral ink.
Cut the crisp cantaloupe cardstock to 9 15/16ths” x  3 7/8th”.  Using a sponge and calypso coral ink distress the edge.
Stamp the sentiment on the top
Adhere the two bits together, making sure there is a border on both sides and at the top.
Cut the DSP to 6” x 5”
Using your score board score 3 sides at ¼ “ and ½” .  Burnish
Score the other side at ½”
Using the Envelope Punch Board.  Punch on the side scored at 1/2 “ by lining the paper up at 1” mark.  Turn the DSP over and again punch at 1” mark.
Using your trimmer cut the edges away on each side to form a tab in the middle.  Fold over
Cut away the three outer small squares at the bottom 2 corners.  And cut the along one edge of the last remaining small square.  This will leave a small flap.  Fold edges in to form a small box shape.

Using tombow glue this to the back of your cutlery holder, taking care to line up the bottom.

I hope you enjoy making these for your christmas tables etc.

But I would ask that if you case this project you please link back to me.

Sunday Stamps - Colour Challenge No 89 ...... meets Stampin Up UK Perfect .......

Hi everyone.

So that fortnight went by super quick.  I can't believe it's Sunday again and there is another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.

I am really honoured to be doing this month's guest designer spot, and want to thank everyone of you that has popped over to take a look at my blog.

I loved seeing everyone's creations in the last challenge and can't wait to see what you come up with for this one.

Anyway this week the challenge is a colour challenge;  It's number SSC89.

I loved this colour combination.

For those of you who don't use Stampin Up Products the colours are:

Plum, Lavender and Vanilla

For those of you, who like me use Stampin Up the colours are:

Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla

So for those of you who have popped in and out of my blog, you will know that I love 3d items, I also love flower arranging and a while back I learnt how to make wrist corsages.

So with that in mind I set to work, because if Mother Nature can do it then so can I.

So first I made the gift box.  Because you wouldn't not wrap this gift.  Its in Wisteria Wonder.

I stamped it using the Bordering Blooms stamp set.  How cute is that.

I also used the flower from Everything Eleanor.  I stamped the box in Wisteria Wonder.  Added a gift tae in Perfect Plum, punched with the Scallop Gift Tag Punch again stamped in Perfect Plum.

The flower on the box and in the centre of the corsage is very vanilla cardstock that has been distressed with both Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder ink.  I have added some Basic Jewels to give it a bit of sparkle.

The leaves and the flower are cut using the Flower Frenzy die.  I love this die.

Lastly I hot glued the flower to the Cotton Ribbon, again from Stampin UP.

I hope you have enjoyed this project.  I just need an occasion to be able to wear this one now.

If anyone would like one of these then please contact me.

Anyone who spends £50 or more in my online shop today will receive a special gift direct from me.

Don't forget to pop over to Sunday Stamps and enter into this fortnight's colour challenge, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Big Hugs

#Holiday Home gets scalloped

Hello everyone.

#Holiday Home and the #scallop tag topper punch

Today I am going to show you a couple more of the demonstration pieces at last week's craft fayre.

I love doing craft fayres and meeting so many amazing people.  Not to mention getting them to stamp and seeing their delight when the image comes out perfectly every time.

Do you remember that yesterday I showed you the box with the cute flying Santa.

Today I am showing you the cute gift tags made to go with this box.

I have used very vanilla and old olive cardstock.  These are a great vintage colour combination.

Again the inks were Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.

Using the tree from #White Christmas and the santa from Holiday Home I stamped my images.  Matted them onto the old olive.

Next I popped them into the Scallop tag topper punch and created my tops.

The cardstock measured 3 7/8ths" x 1 7/8th" for the very vanilla

The old olive was 2" x 4"

Here's the tags.

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow when you will see my next piece as a guest designer for Sunday Stamps.

#white christmas meets the Box Maker Board from Stampin Up

Morning everyone,

#WHITE CHRISTMAS MEETS THE BOX MAKER

In today's post I am going to show you a cute little box that I was demonstrating at a local event.

If you would like to see a demonstration of this I will be doing demonstrations on the 29th and 30th November at the Rural Living Show in Taunton.  Why not pop along and say hello.

You can play with the gorgeous Stampin UP products and see for yourself why they really are a must.

Anyway heres the cute little box.

I cut my paper to 10" x 10" and then punched out the box following the instructions on the board.

Once I had done that I then laid it down flat and got out my Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler inks.

The stamps sets used are White Christmas for the trees, and Holiday Home for the flying santa. (Isn't he cute)

Once stamped simply fold your box up and secure using the tabs.  Easy.

Ingredients for this box:

Crumb Cake Cardstock
Cherry Cobbler Inkpad
Old Olive Inkpad
White Christmas Stamps
Holiday Home Stamps

#Beautiful Bunch meets embossing folders

Hi everyone.

Gosh, did it ever rain yesterday.  I hope you had a better day than we did, but there was some good out of it.  I got to stay in and craft with friends all day. Coffee, chat and crafting ............. notice no cake, were all supposed to be dieting.

Bit of a shock when I went to walk the dogs. The surrounding fields were flooded. Shocked and worried for our local area yet again!  On a good note, the swans were enjoying it.

#Beautiful Bunch Card

As promised yesterday I am showing you the card I made to go with those gorgeous journals.  Aren't they just so cute.

I have used embossing folders to create the texture on the plain colour cardstock, before matting the Designer DSP paper.  I have added half a doily and then the gorgeous flower and finally the sentiment.

This one has the chevrons embossing folder and is in melon mambo.

How about the lovely dots and daffodil delight.  And like it says you can never have too much happy.

I have used all the same ingredients as yesterday ......... you can see them in this post.

Cherry cobbler meets confetti stars

Morning everyone.

Whilst teaching class last month, I had 5 minutes to have a play myself.

So I sat and had a coffee with the ladies and began punching out some stars using the new confetti stars punch.  This is a lovely big punch and is so easy to use and line up.

Anyway I loved the effect and wanted to use it on a card.

I saved the stars I punched out.

Using the Designer Series Paper Stack I matted a layer of Old Olive and then added the confetti punched piece.

I then added a further strip of the DSP and matching ribbon, topping off with a sentiment from the White Christmas Stamp Set.

Lastly I used my two-way glue pen to stick down the stars.

Simple, but very effective.

Am off to try this in whisper white and night of navy.  What colour combinations would you like to see.

To get your hands on this gorgeous punch, head on over to my store now.

I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Monday's invites ........

Morning everyone.

I hope today, being Monday, finds you all well and rested after a wonderful weekend.

We certainly had a mixed bag of weather.

I spent Saturday with the Somerset Care Association at their Craft Fayre in Wells.
It was a lovely day and I met some amazing people.

Next weekend I am at the Chestnut Buttons Christmas Fayre on Sunday 9th November.  This is just off J24 on the M5.  There is going to be lots going on and I am running small workshops all day.

So excited, about that one.

Anyway I also had the pleasure of being asked to make a few invites for a friend's birthday this month.

I did several samples to show her and this is one of them.

As you can see in this sample - I have decorated the envelope with the punched flowers as well.

I used the Apothecary Art stamp set to stamp the background and then cut both the top layer and the pink matt out using the matching framelits.

These two are in a bundle offer in the annual catalogue so are a great buy if you are building up your collection of dies.  This is such a versatile die.

The punched out flower is using the Itty Bitty Accents punch and then I have added a pearl in the middle.

I love the simplicity of this, but it is very girly and feminine at the same time.

Pop back again tomorrow when I will have more to show you.

Don't forget also to enter this fortnight's challenge over at Sunday Stamps
