Forty - is this the new 30? Celebrate Stampin Up Style ......

One of my good friends turned 40 this week.  So to help her celebrate I made her an extra special card and origami gift pouch.

The card is a screen card and I cut the bits out the bottom using my labels dies.

The butterflies are using the Bigz dies

And this is origami, inspired by my friends Elaine and Lizy.

I really enjoyed doing these and love the colour combination.  Have you got a special birthday to make a card for.  The screen card is super easy and very effective.  Why don't you have a go?

As always everything I used can be purchased from my shop

And don't forget about our amazing new Joining offer.  You can join for £50.  Thats amazing.  I look forward to welcoming you to my team.

So what does this mean?

Anyway here's todays quick project.

I demonstrated this lovely box at a hostess event recently.

It was a cross between two boxes that my friends Sam and Tracey had made.  I took inspiration from both and created my box.

I used the wonderful envelope punch board and the butterfly from the gorgeous Papaya Collage stamp set.

The butterfly was stamped on all four sides of the box, the lid and the tag and then heat embossed.  The edges of the lid and tag were also distressed using sponge and inks.

The top of the box was finished with some Chevron ribbons and the tag attached.

I would love to thank the lovely customer who ordered recently with me, but left no contact details.
Your order is much appreciated and as I cannot send you a thank you personally this if for you

THANK YOU

Anne's Mickey and Minnie Birthday - using Stampin UP products

Is was a family member's birthday last week, and although one of the older members of the family, she is definitely one of the youngest at heart.

Her favourite place on earth ......... why Disneyland Florida, of course.  Its a great place to let that inner child be free.

Anyway, what better way to bring a smile to her face than with two of her favourite characters.

Mickey and Minnie

The card is a flat card, but with two easel toppers.  This meant we could write a message inside and also have a hidden message on the top.

I love using our versatile punches to create these two loveable characters and it just shows how much more you can do with any of our punches.

Look our for a very special announcement tomorrow .......... I'm very excited and I know you will be too!!

As always you can purchase any of the products used through my online shop.

I would like to thank everyone who purchased last month.  I hope you enjoyed the little surprise that I sent as well.  There will be a new little something for everyone who purchases this month.

and don't forget you can still get free stamp sets with every £60 spent.

Be the difference - Stampin Up! style ..........

Hi Guys,  Hope today finds you happy and well.

Its been a busy week here again, with lots of birthdays and a new birth.  So over the next few days I have lots to share.

Firstly, last weekend I was lucky enough to be able to go to Stampin Up! Regional Training in Telford.

I went with my good friend Sandra and met up with other team mates and friends.  Its a really great day and an amazing opportunity.

We were asked to make ourselves a name badge - something that reflects us personally.  And also a card or a scrapbook page.

Here's my Scrapbook Page.

The theme was Be The Difference.

This is my memories of Convention last year.  I had a great time then and wanted my team mates to know how much it meant to be there.

And lastly here was my name badge.

I had an amazing day meeting old friends and new.  Gained lots of inspiration and some gorgeous new products.

If you would like to become a Stampin Up Demo I would love to welcome you to my team.  For more details click here

These are the products I used to create both projects.
