Friends and Ice Cream - 2 of my favourite things

On Monday my bestest friends came to visit from Cornwall.  I moved away in March and miss them terribly.  We had a great girlie day, it was lovely to spend time with them.  Unfortunately working in a tourist area they can't get away much during the season, so it was a long time since we had all caught up in person.

The previous blog post card was for my friend Julie, she purchased my yellow beetle from me and loves it  (I really miss it!!!)

This card is for my best mate "Pand" whom I miss every day.  It reminds me of our coffees out - normally involving a little cake as well of course.

I used First Edition Sweet Owl papers, Laura Ashley wallpaper, Coredinations and Tatty Ted paper to make this card.  The flowers were cut on the cricut and distressed, a mini button placed in each.  The image was coloured with promarkers and small Anitas gems stuck on for the cherrys.  The lace work was also cut on the cricut.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A little yellow ray of fun

Gosh it's been hot today, and the sun has been glorious.  I sat outside and coloured my images for today's cards.  It was great.  Came in when I got too hot and put them together.

I covered the basic card shape with Papermania yellow capsule collection papers.  Then used brown coredinations paper and distressed it.  The 3 tags and the top paper are by Bo Bunny.  The image is a Papermania stamp coloured with promarkers.  I made the flowers from the papers using the cricut and finished with a Recycled jeans button and some mini buttons.

This card is for my friend Julie who drives a yellow beetle.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Humphrey's blue wedding

Morning everyone

Looking back over my last couple of posts I seem to have had a thing about blue and weddings.  Well here's another blue wedding card.  I think the aqua colour (which is my fav gemstone Aquarmarine) is such a delicate colour and lends itself perfectly to this kind of card.

I have added lots of bling and glitz to this card.  The buttons are some I had in the bottom of the tin.  My ribbon I bought at a local craft fayre.  The blue glitter paper is Papermania.  The roses were won in a draw.  The backing papers are Coredinations lime green and the flowery one is from the Canterbury collection by Kanban.  I have used Anitas Gems to finish the card off.  The bling under the roses has been  recycled from a necklace

I wish to enter this card in the following challanges:
