Would you like a way .........

to earn free products for you to craft with?

Would you like to meet new people?

Would you like a new way to share your passion for crafting?

Yes,  thats exactly how I was feeling when I found Stampin Up!

As many of my followers know I have been crafting for many years now, I have played with various papers, dies, pens, and techniques.  I have watched trends come and go, and experimented along with the rest of you when new products arrived on the scene.

A little while ago I discovered Stampin Up!.  I bought some papers from a demonstrator, and loved working with them.  They folded, cut, stamped and moulded beautifully.  Unfortunately the lady did not put her details in the pack so I couldn't purchase any more from her.

So, saddened by this and desperate to find some more I decided to join Stampin Up as a hobby Demonstrator.

Whats this I hear you ask?  Its a way of getting discounted products, with amazing support from a large organisation, whilst at the same time being able to do as little or as much as I feel I can.   They don't hassle me to do more and more, but make me feel really part of something special that has given me a new lease of life.

Ten years ago I irrevocably injured my spine in an accident.  Crafting has given me a lot of pleasure and has given me a way to cope with the really rubbish times.  Stampin UP! has played a huge part in that recently.  Since joining I have made lots of lovely new friends and have discovered lots of support and encouragement.  Its a brilliant way to bring sunshine into gloomy days.

I would love to be able to share that feeling with you.  So if you are in the UK or Europe and would like to join my Team - The Crafting Birds I would love to hear from you.  I would love to be able to welcome you to my team and send you lots of lovely cards to celebrate your achievements with you.

two little birds

Hi guys.

I hope this finds you well and that you have managed a little "Crafty" time.

Today's card was made for a member of my Team - The Crafting Birds.

Sharon is lovely and has worked really hard and is making great progress so, I thought I would send her some love in a card.

I used my favourite Bird Builder Punch, the Fresh Prints paper stack and some ribbon to create this lovely card to congratulate her on her achievements.

The base of the card is the gorgeous Real Red card stock and the sentiment from the Loving Thoughts set is also stamped and distressed in real red.

The birds were punched in the Fresh Prints paper and layered onto the Angled Tag, punched using our fantastic Tag Punch and then finished off with real red ribbon.

Don't forget all these products and many more are available from my

Have a great day.

Punch your art out .....

to create something super super cute.

Last night, some lovely ladies and I got together for a little craft group.  We meet the first Tuesday of every month and it's fab.

Last month we did lots of stamping, but this month our little class was on punch art.

Here's the samples of what we were making .........

We used the lovely beautifully baroque embossing folder as well to create texture for the background.

The punches used were the Owl Builder Punch, The elegant Butterfly, The Bird Builder Punch, the small heart and lastly the 2 1/2" circle.

I just loved these, but we also used the Envelope Punch Board to create special envelopes for the cards to go in.

Here's what some of the girls came up with.

Cards are stood on their envelopes.  These are Megs cards.

The owl fronts were coloured with the Stamp'n'Write markers

Gorgeous double hearts

Again more lovely colouring using the Stamp'n'write Markers.

I had great fun last night, and am always made to feel very welcome.  Whats more fun that a few of you getting together, some tea and biccies, and a great evening crafting and laughing.  Nothing is more refreshing for the soul.

Anyway, imagine my surprise when I checked the Weekly Deals list today and found the same embossing folder now reduced.............

There are some brilliant bargains to be had this week.

The Heat embossing tool and the embossing folders are absolute bargains.

So don't forget these are only available until Tuesday evening at these prices.  So don't delay.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit today.  Don't forget you can get all your crafting products through

or you can contact me on 07823 883769  or email me :  craftybirdlisa@gmail.com

Just got to love ......

My kids.

Hi everyone.  Hope you're having a great day.  A few weeks ago I had a birthday, and my lovely kids made me some cards.

I was banished from my own craft room, whilst they ransacked my craft stash to create their works of art.

They both made stunning easel cards, using the big shot and our gorgeous framelits.

My daughter used chocolate chip and tangerine tango. Tom used night of navy, Bermuda bay and dsp.  Both stamped and distressed and glued to the max.

Here's. the results.

I just love them to bits and they are proudly displayed in my craft room.

If you would like to learn to make these or any other kind of card, why not come along to my craft days .
All the products used can be purchased through my online shop.

Have a great day.
