Thank you ............

Don't know about you guys, but I was always made to write my thank you letters at birthdays and Christmas.    As a child it always seemed a chore ....... there were so many other things I wanted to do.

And now, well, now I combine writing my thank you's with creating something wonderful.  So anyone, I have to thank always gets an individual card, cause I've made it.

Here's one I did recently for a friend, who had helped me.

This person loves Vintage and our Very Vintage Wheel was just perfect for this.  I combined it with the stunning Flowering Flourishes and an In-Colour Boutique Details Accessory to finish off.

The cardstock is Baked Brown sugar and is inked in the same colour.  I have torn very vanilla and distressed the edges.   The sentiment is from the Oh Hello stamp set.

Of course the inside had to be finished to the same standard as the outside.  So here it is.

Hope you're all having a great week and finding some time to craft.

Thanks for dropping by.

Tis the Season to be Jolly.........

Ok, ok, I know Christmas still seems some time away, but in the crafting world, we are already getting busy, making and sharing our ideas for Christmas.

There is a real air of excitement and I think I love the build up to Christmas as much as the day itself.  I just love making my cards, tags, and presents and giving them to people I love most.

And to make this a little bit easier, and to help you guys find more inspiration Stampin Up has just launched 8 single Christmas Stamps.

Aren't these gorgeous.  But unfortunately, like all good things they will have to come to an end.  You can only get your inky little fingers on these until the end of January 2014.  And then they're gone.

You can get these from me through my shop

or by calling me or emailing me on the details at the top of the blog.

I'm just loving these and already know which ones I want to combine with my Christmas cards.  I will be ordering mine today.

Have a great day crafting.

Do you want 15% off your butterflies ..........

As promised yesterday,  I have got another fab project to show you using the gorgeous bitty butterfly punch and the papillon potpourri stamp set.

I have been making a memory book for a friend whose little girl was born with brain damage.  They are raising funds for Maddie and I wanted to give them something personal, as well as my donations to their fund raising.

Maddie is a gorgeous little girl and is definitely a pink princess ......... so it was only right that I used pink in the scrapbook pages.

I have used Strawberry Slush, Primrose Petals and Blushing Bride as my colours

Have stamped using the butterflies and also used the punch to layer them up

There are all the eight pages so far.  Next they get to be made into the scrapbook.

Aren't they gorgeous?  These little butterflies are so versatile and always look great.
