Do you ever get those days .....

When you know you've got stacks to do' but you're just really un-inspired.

I do ....... You'd think that being surrounded by lots of amazing craft goodies, that I would be completely in the zone,

But to be honest, I've been having a flat week, and I defy any crafter out there to say ..... This doesn't happen to me, because for many of us it's reality.

So,  to remedy this, I gathered some supplies, including the lovely flowering flourishes stamp set, some pistachio pudding card stock and my glue.

So what did I do first ...... Well I went to Pinterest .....  The most brilliant place to go for inspiration.

Next I watched fellow crafter Elaine create a project, then I set to work To Case it.  For those who are new to crafting CASE means copy and share everything.

So what did I create, well a gorgeous easel box card, with matching gift box.

Here's the closed gift box

  And showing the card/box inside

The ever so cute card box

 Showing the open drawer

I used matching designer series paper from the co-ordinations paper stack, an antique brad and the itty bitty punches. The sentiment and flowers are from the something to say stamp set.

I love this and am feeling more inspired now.

Hope I've inspired you.

Don't forget, if I have inspired you, you can get all the products I used by simply clicking the shop with me button.

Would love to hear how you get crafty when feeling uninspired.

Have a great day

Heres some samples

Card made last year using Christmas Collectibles and Festive Flurry framelits

Isn't this cute, could be put on the tree, kids love making these.  Made using christmas collectibles and the matching punch.

And don't forget the lovely festive flurry, seen here decorating my home-made crackers.

These are the kind of products I am talking about

Theres so many options.

Many of these products retired and we thought they wouldn't be back, but here they are and only for a short space of time.

Yep, its Wednesday today which means new weekly deals,

I have been spending time with my daughter this week, doing girlie things, so the craft room has been a bit neglected.  But I am going to be back with more projects to show you tomorrow.

Swallowtail meets Blendabilities

Hi everyone.

I thought I would dig out one of my favourite stamps and get colouring with my new favourite pens.

I decided to colour the same stamp with three different colours and mount the coloured image in three different ways so you could see the difference, and hopefully be inspired.

Anyway the stamp is Swallowtail and I have coloured with Blendabilities in Rich Razzleberry, old olive and cherry cobbler.

On this card I layered rich razzleberry card stock onto very vanilla.  I stamped ink momento tuxedo black in with the swallowtail stamp.

I then stamped again onto another piece of very vanilla and set to work with my Blendabilities.  Once the image was coloured I fussy cut it and mounted onto the card to create a 3d effect.

Heres a close up so you can see all the wonderful lights and shadows you can create with these amazing pens.

Cherry cobbler butterfly, on very vanilla, matted and layered onto old olive.

Isn't the definition with these pens amazing

Lastly Old olive butterfly, matted and layered onto daffodil delight card stock

Love the definition in this one.  So pretty

What do you think?

Don't you just love the way these pens colour.

I'd love to see your creations if I have inspired you and as always your comments mean so much.
