Hello Honey and Stampin UP Blendabilities

Hi everyone.  Have you had a chance to play with your craft goodies from Stamin UP! yet?

In today's post:

  • Hello Honey and Stampin Up Blendabilities
  • Two weeks of celebrations
  • Weekly Deals
  • Feel Good Greetings
Hello Honey and Stampin Up Blendabilities

Today are the last two cards I made in the set I showed you yesterday.  I love the world of dreams set, and really enjoyed creating the backgrounds.  But as with yesterday I wanted to finish each card differently.  Here's a link to yesterday's post

So today I used ribbon on my cards and also some Vintage Clear Buttons.  Can you see them.

Ooops, sorry they are not clear anymore.  I have coloured them with the darkest shade in the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities range.  It is so close to Hello Honey that it blends perfectly. And because they are alcohol ink, they dry perfectly.  What do you think?

Lastly on this one, I used Melon Mambo DSP and finished off with some of our new cotton ribbon.  So cute.

Anyway hope you have loved these cards.  Would love to see your creations using this background technique.

Modern Mosaic gets punched and embossed

Hi everyone.

Wow, where did summer go?  I think I blinked and missed it ........ I just cannot believe its September already.  Kids are back to school and college and normal life has resumed.

During the summer holidays I did some extra one to one classes with a few ladies and these are the makes from one of those sessions.

We used, modern mosaic stamps, embossing folder and punch.  Teamed with Love labels and matching punch.

Isn't this one gorgeous ....... its in early espresso  .......... no really Mum, this is brown not Black !!

The gorgeous love label and chevron ribbon just finish this of beautifully.

Tape it, meets modern mosaic - love this one so cute.  Hello honey and strawberry slush. I have also used the now retired occasions alphabet set  for the sentiment.  Finished the whole thing off with some lovely sparkly jewels.

And how about this one - using the label punch and splitting them to create backgrounds.  I used the chevron embossing folder to create texture on this one before adding modern mosaic centres and those gorgeous itty bitty butterflies.  Cute.

We had a lovely day at class an the ladies really enjoyed themselves.

If you would like some lessons or some crafty time with your friends and would like to do something similar then please get in contact to arrange a date and time.

I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

There is some exciting news coming tomorrow - I am just finalising my plans, so please check back then to see.

Pinkies Blog Hop - Tape It ........

page3image22360
Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping.

TAPE IT.

When I saw this set in the catalogue I have to confess that I wasn't a great fan.  I didn't like Washi Tape much, so why would I like this.  Oh boy, have I ever changed my mind.

I love the fact that It is so versatile, that I can create different looks by varying how it is stamped, with which colours it is stamped and with what other stamps and punches I team it with.  Its a great main feature or just a little added extra.

So here it is stamped with Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey.  An elegant Butterfly has been punched out and distressed with Mossy Meadow along with some of the gorgeous new flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch pack this year.  Finished off with a few pearls and the lovely new sentiment from the Say Something Stamp Set.  So cute.

Hello honey and Lost lagoon, are such a divine colour combination.  Again a simple Say Something sentiment and a few flowers to finish off.

You can even stamp inside to match.

Has anyone spotted the two deliberate errors yet?
