and luck.  Today is the opening night for my 15 year old's school production and she is very very nervous.  I have made her a card to wish her luck.

I love these fabulous images from Make it Crafty.  I have coloured here with promarkers in my daughter's favourite colours.  The papers are a selection of Tulip (From Papermania) and Oxford (Kanban)  The two bows are both from Papermania and the sentiment from Kanban.  I have finished the card off with some card candi.  The shapes were cut using Spellbinders Nesties on my trusty Cuttlebug.  Off to get my daughter from school now and to give her this card.

Wizards, bears and christmas all in one day

Hi everyone

Firstly can I thank all my lovely followers for their fab comments and welcome any new ones.  I am still new to this and really appreciate all your lovely comments.

I have had a crafty few days, but have only just managed to get round to photographing them so here they are:

Forever Friends Christmas Bear

I love these cute bears and this one is stamped and then coloured with promarkers and glittered with Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue.  Then mounted onto Papermania Glitter Card.  The backing paper is forever friends and the embossed strip was done using my cuttlebug.  To finish I added a FF sticker sentiment and three card candies which I then finished with glossy accents.  Quick and simple but quite effective.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Teddy Bea - this is the first Teddy Bea image I have used and I am thrilled with the results.  I have always admired them and have finally taken the plunge.  I think she looks gorgeous in pinks and lavenders.

Bea was of course coloured with promarkers and then matted and layered using pink papermania cardstock and a candy stripe pink paper from Craft Creations.  The other two ink papers were from the First Edition Sweet Owl collection.  I made the double bow using ribbons from my stash.  The LOTV sentiment was stamped and then coloured with promarkers, the circles were then cut on the cuttlebug using nesties and layered.  Anitas gems were used to finish this off.  The final touch a few co-ordinating card candies.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

and last but not least a child's birthday card.

Wizard  This little chap is an LOTV stamp.. I love this one.  What do you think??????

Autumn is coming .............

Firstly I have a confession to make, it's been really hard to be indoors doing crafty bits, when the weather has been so brilliant.  Not like autumn at all really.  I have taken my colouring outside to the garden and used our trees as inspiration for this card.

The back layer is embossed Coredina'tions paper in a mustard colour.  I used a Cuttlebug flower embossing folder for this.  The rest of the papers are from Desert Blooms from First Edition.  The sentiment if from a Forever Friends embelishments pack.

Gorguss was coloured with my promarkers and the background was coloured using Dovecraft chalks in greens, greys and reds.  The spots on the mushrooms were coloured with a white gel pen.

I couldn't find a paper I wanted to use to match the floral paper, so I cut a small piece and then distressed it with dovecraft chalks, again using reds and browns.  To finish this card off I added a lovely handmade green bow.  This ribbon is fab and has crinkly edges.

I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:

sugar nellie girl with butterfly

This is one of the "new to me" Sugar Nellie stamps that I won earlier this month.  I think she's really cute.  I love the detail in this stamp and of course the butterflies.
I have coloured her with promarkers and mounted her on pink mirricard.  I have also used coredinations   pink paper which was then embossed using a cuttlebug and then distressed.  The happy birthday paper is papermania. The stripes are First Edition Sweet Owl papers.  I made the flowers using the tim holtz tattered florals die, in Tim Holtz paper and Papermania Kraft cardstock, these were then distressed using TH distress inks.  The smaller roses were hand made from the papers used in the project.

The sentiment inside is from the Tatty Ted Digital Designer CD.  The edge has been created using a Martha Stewart Die.

I then made a box for this card from Kraft Card and Cordinations Card.  The happy birthday was cut on the Cricut. The lid was finished with some card candi and three flower embelishments.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges:

Good evening.

How are you all?  Thanks for dropping in to see what I've been up to.......

I have some lovely new LOTV images to play with and decided that although I was too late to enter their sketch challenge, (closed last night) I would play along and see what I came up with.

My card is made using Kars Christmas papers, the nativity lotv image coloured with promarkers and a doily from Papermania cardstock cut on my Cricut.  The fab sentiment is a Hunky Dory one.  The pink Cored'inations paper is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Penny Black Baby Card - for George

Easel card made for a friend who has just had a new baby boy - called George.

I used my x-cut nesting dies to matt and layer the image.  The Pennyblack image is coloured with Promarkers and I used Stickers glitter glue to highlight the butterfly and the centres of the flowers.  The bow and buttons are from Papermania.  The pram stamp is embossed with my Cuttlebug. The blue dotty paper is from the Forever Friends Retro Collection.   I stamped the frame and used Tatty Ted Peel Off letters to write George.
