Its great to have so many new followers.
It was team training for the Crafting Birds last week. It was great to get together and have some fun and laughs with the other girls.
We did some boring business stuff in the morning and then we spent some lovely time crafting together. Sandra made some cute Punch Art for everyone to try and I had devised this gorgeous book. The colours are Crumb Cake and Blackberry bliss. Reminds me of Blackberry crumble. Yummy.
I am so in love with this little Tag Book, that I wanted to be able to share it with you. I am also including the recipe for this so you can all have a go. Its just so sweet. I have also finished mine completely, so you get to see some of my photos. (Yes I am a big kid at heart, as you will see!)
Do you remember yesterday I talked about some of the great ways to spread the cost of your crafting?
Yes, thats good. Well today I wanted to share with you the way to get all the lovely new In-Colour products. There is an in-colour Club that I run. It lasts for Five months. So you know exactly what you are spending. You get card stock, ribbon, ink, pens, and lots more in each colour, and after five months you have all of it. Its a great way to build your colour collection. I decorated the album above using the new Blackberry Bliss ink pad and a sponge and a mask to create my own patterned paper. Love this colour.
You can also do the same for the entire Ink Pad collection and the Marker Pens collection. There are lots of options just waiting to solve your craft spend v building your stash problem. If you want to know more about either option please pop over to the Virtual Hostess Page and you can find full details.

TAG BOOK RECIPE:
- 2 x A4 pieces of Cardstock.
- 1 x designer series paper
- tombow glue (or other strong glue)
- Ribbon
- Photos
- Tag topper punch or similar
- any other punches or embellishments
To make the basic album. On the landscape side (the long side) cut the card to 10 3/4"
Next score on the landscape side at 2 1/2", 2 3/4", 5 1/4", 5 1/2", 8 and lastly 8 1/4"
The on the portrait side score at 1" and 6 "
Burnish all score lines ...... being careful to go with the score line not against it as you risk cracking your card stock.
Now you have to trim out all the very small rectangles from either side .................. as in this picture.
If you wish, you can round the corners of all your flaps at this stage.
Next run a small bead of glue along the outside two edges of each fop and fold up to create a pocket
To decorate your basic album you will need to cut the following
4 x pieces of paper at 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" (this is for the large panels on the back of the album)
4 x pieces of paper at 2 x 2 1/4" (This if for the little pockets)
I have distressed all the edges of my paper with a dauber and some ink.
I also did this to all the folded edges of my album.
I finished off with some ribbons, and lots of lovely punch art and some gorgeous stamping.
(I am happy for you to reproduce this for you own use, but this is not intended for use in classes or workshops.)
I would love to see your albums. Please leave a link to your posts in my comments box below, and I promise I will stop by and look at them all.
If you have any questions please give me a call or contact me via Facebook or email.
