#Beautiful Bunch meets embossing folders

Hi everyone.

Gosh, did it ever rain yesterday.  I hope you had a better day than we did, but there was some good out of it.  I got to stay in and craft with friends all day. Coffee, chat and crafting ............. notice no cake, were all supposed to be dieting.

Bit of a shock when I went to walk the dogs. The surrounding fields were flooded. Shocked and worried for our local area yet again!  On a good note, the swans were enjoying it.

#Beautiful Bunch Card

As promised yesterday I am showing you the card I made to go with those gorgeous journals.  Aren't they just so cute.

I have used embossing folders to create the texture on the plain colour cardstock, before matting the Designer DSP paper.  I have added half a doily and then the gorgeous flower and finally the sentiment.

This one has the chevrons embossing folder and is in melon mambo.

How about the lovely dots and daffodil delight.  And like it says you can never have too much happy.

I have used all the same ingredients as yesterday ......... you can see them in this post.

Lisa Cornwall, Independant Stampin UP UK Demonstrator, shop online with me at www.crunchiecrafts.stampinup.net

Hi guys.

How are you all today.  I can't believe its Wendesday today.  I have been looking forward to today for about a week.

Why?

Well, I now live in Somerset, but I used to live in Tintagel in Cornwall and I miss lots of my friends, and once a month or so we get together for a girlie day of chat, cake and coffee.  What could be nicer.
I know I am having a great day.  I hope you are too.

IN TODAY'S POST:

  • Gorgeous Grungy Flowers
  • Chocolate Crumb - yesterday's post
  • Special Offers

GORGEOUS GRUNGY FLOWERS

Yesterday I showed you a lovely card using the beautiful bunch stamp set.  I love this set.  But one of my other loves is gorgeous grunge.  I love love love this one.

It creates amazing backgrounds for all types of projects and goes beautifully with the flowers in today's stamp set.

How cute is that.  I have stamped the images from gorgeous grunge straight onto the card base, using real red, crumb cake and pear pizzazz.  Beautiful colours.  Adore them.

I used the tag topper punch (Scallop) to punch out my tag before stamping in real red with the Thank U from A Round Array.  Next I edged my tag with real red ink using a sponge dauber.

Adding a little ribbon at the top of the tag and attaching to my card base using dimensionals.

I punched one flower out of pear pizzazz and stamped another in real red, before punching out.  I gave them some dimension by running over them with my bone folder, before added a pearl in the centre of the flower.  I layered them up and attached to the tag.  Cute don't you think.

So two days, and two cards using the same feature stamp set.

If you missed yesterday's post here it is:

and if you are wondering what the heading SPECIAL OFFERS is all about in my sidebar

Who's for chocolate crumbs............

Hi guys,

Todays issue from Stampin UP Uk Demonstrator Lisa Cornwall.

Firstly sorry I did not post yesterday, but unfortunately I woke to up a message from someone that can be called nothing short of nasty.  It kind of upset me and I did not want that to come through in my post.  Anyway today the sun is shining so here goes:

IN TODAYS POST:

  • Facebook question
  • Todays card - Chocolate Crumb

Facebook Question

I don't know about you but I love the fact that I can order from Stampin UP Uk 24/7 every week of the year.  I also love the huge variety of colours in their range.  Did you know that you can shop with me 24/7 every week of the year.  Simply click on the Shop with me button in the sidebar.

I am a member of lots of groups on Facebook and one of the questions that keeps being asked is do you match your papers to your colours or your colours to your papers?

I am lucky enough that I can do either.

Why?

Because Stampin Up and Crunchie Crafts make it easy.  Stampin Up! have everything co-ordinated.  They take the hassle out of choosing my favourite paper, but using colours I don't particularly like, or using my favourite colours and trying to match to a paper stack.

Its so simple.

And talking of papers, did you know that becoming a member of Stampin UP! this month gives you six months free of designer series papers.  Yes, one pack per month. Thats £9.95 worth of pretty papers of your choice free every month for six months.  Awesome.

How do you get it?

Simple ......... join my team, either as a hobby demonstrator who just wants to purchase craft products for themselves, or as demonstrator that wants to do a bit more.  There is no pressure, the choice is entirely yours.  It costs £99 and you get £130 of goods.  Thats £31 free plus the free papers a total amount of £189.70 for just £99.  Awesome.

CHOCOLATE CRUMB

I am currently dieting........... I would like to loose a few pounds so that my new dresses for Convention look awesome and also so that my man is proud of me.

With that thought in mind it is never a good time to start using colours like Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake.  Ooooh the thoughts of all that yumminess.

Anyway I managed to get through it ........... and didn't eat anything I shouldn't but I am so loving the result.

I pulled out one of my new favourites for this card - the beautiful bunch stamp set and matching punch.  I love this flower its just too cute.

I cut an A4 sheet in half (Portrait) and folded to give my card base.  Next I cut a matting layer 1/4" smaller.  I distressed the edge of this layer with chocolate chip ink on a sponge.

Next I stamped the crumb cake cardstock all over with Chocolate chip ink using the flower from the set.

I then stamped one more and punched out, before curving it using my bone folder to give some dimension.

Lastly I added a basic jewel to the middle of the flower and used a dimensional to pop it on the card,
before adding the Thank You sentiment which is from the Something to Say stamp set.  This has been punched out using the modern label punch.  Again the edge of the sentiment has been sponged to make it pop.

I hope you love this card and set as much as I do.

Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful bunch meets teeny tiny sentiments

Morning everyone, well I say Morning, but for my worldwide followers it could be any time of day,

so a big Hello to everyone, wherever you are.   I hope that you're well and happy.

I have been showing you in the last few posts the Beautiful Bunch stamp set.  This is such a gorgeous set and so versatile.  So far we have done Thank You cards, a Sympathy card and today I wanted to show you a clean and simple card "Just for You".

So what is clean and simple .......... my understanding of this is that the majority of the card is left blank and un-adorned, leaving a clean simple look.

I have based my card today on the challenge at freshly made sketches.

Don't you think this is cute.  Its just crying out for the Beautiful Bunch Stamp set.

I wanted to show you that this set can be used to create borders and other patterns as well as the lovely flowers.

I have used the lovely circular dots to create two rows of stamping behind my flower

I have added a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and then finished this with the flower from the Itty Bitty Punches pack and a few pearls.  The edge of the sentiment was inked with my lovely new blendabilties.

Above and below are close ups of the gorgeous flower.  This has been stamped and coloured with the Blendabilties four times.

I have only used one set of the Blendabilties on this card and that is the cherry cobbler set.  I also used the blender pen to bring in some highlights.  These are amazing pens that you will be wanting to use time and time again.

I have cut some up to bring the petals out and then the centre has also been punched and layered.  I finished this off with some dazzling diamonds on the petals and crystal effects in the centre

 and a side view.

I am going to enter this into the challenge.  Its a long time since Ive done any challenge work, so wish me luck.

I hope that I've managed to show you that the Beautiful Bunch stamps and punch are very very versatile and can be used for lots of occasions.

Have a great day everyone.

One Stamp, so much versatility #Beautiful Bunch

Hi everyone.

On my last post I showed you how I had used the gorgeous Beautiful Bunch stamp set to create a tag card with my sister-in-law and her friends.  You can find the post here

But i want to show you this week that one stamp set can be used for lots of different things, just by changing the colours, the layout and the way you embellish the project.

So we've done a card with a lovely tag on the front, but today's card is a little bit more subtle and has a completely different message.

Today's card is a sympathy card.  I hate making these, and it is even harder when it is for a friend who has lost a parent.

Anyway the Beautiful Bunch set worked so well for this.

I have matted and layered Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock and then stamped in Momento Black ink.  The sentiment is from a retired hostess set.

I then stamped the flower three more times onto scrap card stock and punched out, before colouring in with my Blendabilities.

I have used the pumpkin pie and rich razzleberry colours to create the flower.

Can you see how well these pens work.  I am totally in love with them.  They are colouring my life wonderfully and I am afraid my other brands have now gone - and I am a Blendabilities Lady.  I am looking forward to using these lots more in my Blendabilties Clubs

I punched them out, using the co-ordinating punch, and then snipped the centre flower to create separate petals and centre.  All this was layered up using dimensionals.

It just adds a splash of colour and gives the card some dimension.

If you would like this stamp set or any of the other bits I have used today don't forget you can shop online with me at the click of a button.

Yep, the one below.

Workshop for my SIL .......... #a beautiful bunch

and they were truly a beautiful bunch to spend a fantastic evening with.

There were lots of fun and giggles and much competitiveness.  But it was great to see a group of friends enjoying themselves so much.

It was a great workshop with lots of spot prizes along the way, and a quick demo from me.  Unfortunately I gave my SIL the card and forgot to photograph it.  (Silly me!!)

I demonstrated the reflection technique that you can find in this post ...........  TRAVELLER

For the make and take that everyone got to do this was my basic design ....

For the card I have used the gorgeous Beautiful Bunch Stamp set.  Inked it in Lost Lagoon
and created my own background on the card base.

Next I punched out a tag, using the tag topper punches, then inked the edges and stamped the sentiment (from the Something to say Stamp Set).

Added the ribbon and popped on the card.

Finally I stamped two more flowers, one on very vanilla card stock and one on lost lagoon.

Punched them out using the coordinating punch and popped on with stamping dimensionals.

Here's the card from the side.

Below are the cards the 6 girls made ..... what do you think?

a side view of the set below

I just love the fact that they bounced ideas around and each created something truly unique.

The colours used were from the new In Colour range.

If you would like to get crafty and have your own in-house workshop please give me a call.

All these products can be found in my online shop, or you can order direct from me.
