 Elegant Eggplant Peacocks

Hi everyone.  I hope that you all had a great day yesterday.

I had an amazing day and got a secret project finally finished.  What is it?  Well, sorry folks I can't tell you yet, but keep popping back.  I will be adding some sneaky peaks and after the 26th of September I will be able to reveal it completely to you.  I am so happy with it, and so immensely thrilled that I want to shout about it from the roof tops, but I have to keep quiet.  Its so hard.

Anyway today's make was for a friend's Mum.  She is not a fussy person and likes things simple, so I choose a simple matt and layer design card.

The colour is a lovely deep purple.  A really rick opulent colour and I love it.  The Stamp is Perfect Peacock from Stampin Up Uk.

I stamped the image in Versamark, and then heat embossed with White Embossing powders

Then I got out my Blendabilities - this time the Wisteria Wonder set

And I spend a bit of time colouring all the pearls and diamonds to match the card

Before stamping and embossing the sentiment - which is from the Bloom with Hope set.
I punched this out with the Word Window Punch and Modern Label Punches.

The card is an A5 size card.  It really is lovely and I have several commissions using this lovely stamp set.

If you would like to commission a card, notebook, gift wrapping or 3d project I would love to hear from you.

FREE GOOD GREETINGS

Wow, the offers just keep getting better and better.  As if hostess benefits weren't good enough already.  For a £200/€300 party you already get £30 of free product of your choice.  But now we are giving you this extra stamp set free, just for hosting a party with £200/€300 sales or for placing your single order of £200/€300 or more.

Aren't these just so cute.  I love the font and there is certainly something for everyone.

So how do you get yours?  Simple ........... either book a party/workshop with me and between yourself and your guests spend the required amount.

Do it yourself online.  Yes you can get this offer simply by popping over to my online shop and spending £200/€300.  Yes if you live in France, Germany or the Netherlands you can also shop with me.  It would be lovely to be sending more of my handmade thank you cards to you guys on the continent.

One Card, three techniques ......

Hi everyone

In todays post

  • One card, three techniques

Do you remember the lovely Zentangle technique which I shared with you earlier in the week?
(If you missed it you can click above and you will be taken to the post)

I loved the doodling on this technique but wanted to add a bit more ........ so how about some paper tearing, and some heat embossing.  Yep all three on one card.

The card base for this one is an A5 base which is very popular in the UK.

I have used the lovely blended Bloom Stamp set.

Firstly I stamped the image in versamark and then heat embossed with clear power.

Then I stamped the image on very vanilla and got down to some doodling,

love the way the flower came out.  It had to be fuzzy cut, as there is no punch for this one.

next I stamped the image on very vanilla several times on only coloured in tiny bits.

Before tearing the card stock to the shape I really wanted.

I finished off the inside with the stamp again in Momento ink.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and is stamped onto the small oval and layered onto the large oval punch.  I have edged the layers with my Stamp N Write Marker in basic black.

To finish I added three of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack 2014 which have been sponged in basic black and then finished with pearls in the centre.

Have a great day and I hope you find some time to get creative.  Don't forget I would love to see what you make, so why not leave a comment in the box with a link to your projects inspired by this.

Hugs

A beginning and an end ......

Hi everyone.  My mojo must be returning these days, as I have found some inspiration from somewhere.

Firstly my friend became a Grandma .... Her daughter gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl ......
And then another friend has buried her Dad.  Two very different aspects of life, but a certainty for us all.

I made two baby cards.  One for the proud parents, and one for the proud Grandparents. Very similar so that Mother and Daughter could not argue about who had the nicest card.  Anyway congrats to both sets of proud parents.

The papers for these are by First Edition.  The gorgeous shapes have been cut using Nesties and the "Baby" sentiment was cut on the Cricut.  The die cuts are of course Forever Friends.  I have finished off with ribbon, lace and card candi from stash.

Sadly a friend had to bury her Dad recently and this was the simple card I made.  The agapanthus was stamped using Versamark and then heat embossed.  Simply then matted onto black and white card from stock, before adding a black ribbon bow at the bottom.

Crafty hugs for now.

The image was coloured with promarkers and then cut out and mounted.
The sentiment was stamped from the same digital set and then again dusted with Cosmic Dust

Thanks for all your love and support.
