Rainbow smiles with Stampin up products

Hi guys.  Had a lovely week Stampin Up wise.  Got to go and spend time with some lovely young ladies at Rainbows on Monday

We made lovely cards using gorgeous grunge, mixed bunch and the scallop tag topper.  Oh and not forgetting Around array. Such a great stamp set.

Here's the girls and their creations.

As you can see they were really chuffed with their makes.

So fifteen minutes later it was the turn of the guides.

It's hard to see but the made cards and super cute curvy keep sakes boxes.

Great fun.

Had a great evening.

See you soon guys.

Early Espresso Birthday and 50% free

In today's post:

  • Sandras Birthday, early espresso and crumb cake
  • Short and Sweet - 50% extra free
  • Big shot, big deals

Morning everyone.

Hows your week been?  Mines been lovely.  Although I am missing my kids, (They're away with family), the house is quiet, and too tidy.  But I have had lots of time to get crafty and make some special gifts for special people.

It was my friend Sandra's birthday so I needed to make her an extra special card.  I am loving crumb cake and early espresso together at the moment, and here's what I came up with.

I made the base for this by folding a piece of UK A4 in half to create an A5 card.

Very vanilla was stamped with Gorgeous Grunge

Matts and layers using the windows framelits were finished off with the lovely saying from the Feel Goods set.

Don't you love that heart border.  Created completely with our hearts boarder punch.  Yummy.

Beautiful ribbon deserves a beautiful bow.  Finished off with a gorgeous button.

Don't you love the colour of this button.  Yep, me too.  And it started life as a clear faceted button.  I coloured it with a blendabilitie pen in the darkest of the skin tones.  Gorgeous.

Off course the inside had to look pretty too.

And there was a matching tag for her present.

mmmm chocolates.

So I hear whats this short and sweet, and the 50% free.  Yes I did say 50% free.

Here you go:

Remember the beautiful boat reflection ..........

Morning everyone ..........

yes, thats right the boat reflection I did a couple of weeks ago, and I asked what would you like to see it turned into .....

Here's the link if you missed the post  Reflection technique

At that stage the image had been stamped and coloured and water coloured but was a flat piece of paper ...... there were so many lovely suggestions and I thank you all for taking the time to stop by and leave your comments.

Anyway are you ready ...............

From this

To this Easel reflection card

I used the lovely polka dots embossing folder to emboss the top of my card before turning it into an easel.  I stamped the bottom layer with lost lagoon and the gorgeous Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

I matted and layered and distressed (vintage style) the edges of Tangello Twist and Lost Lagoon card stock

And stamped and cut with the Banners Framelits the gorgeous Flag.

It says ......... "now go change the world" and is part of one of the sayings from the Something to Say stamp set.

I hope you all love it.  I love that the reflection is not flat and has the three dimensional feel that it would in real life.

Anyway thanks again for taking the time to stop by and huge huge thank you's for all your comments and support.

As always hugs,

As you guys know there has been lots going on at Stampin Up! recently and its has made it a very exciting time to be a demonstrator.

Its been lovely to welcome new faces to the team, to encourage current team members and to share and create with all of you.

Its also a sad time, as some of my favourite stamps are retiring, but I can tell you that having already got my new 2014/15 catalogue that I will have some new favourites soon.

Anyway wanted to share some of my favourite stamps sets which are being carried over with you, but this time they are in the new In Colours for 2014/16,

Aren't these cute.  They are made with Very Vanilla card stock, and the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set and the Mixed Bunch Stamps Set.  The flowers were then punched out with the Blossom punch and finished with a rhinestone jewel.

This one is Blackberry Bliss matted and layered with a Hello Hunny flower

And this one is Hello Hunny with Blackeberry Bliss flower.

The gorgeous grunge has been stamped in both colours.

The card was finished off with a little bit of linen thread.

Hope you like this one.
