July's technique class available online:

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I gave you the option to purchase my One Sheet Wonder class online.  This was held on Saturday morning and was great fun.

In the afternoon we used the same stamp set but did a Wet Wipe Technique Class.  Such good fun, who knew wet wipes were for more then cleaning babies bottoms!!!

Anyway here's the mock up shots of the class.  You can get the full kit including the stamp set in either clear or wood mount by giving me an email.

Card 1 is an easel card the front is above and inside is below

Next was the gorgeous window pane effect card

and lastly the floating butterflies

All three are using wet wipes to create effects.

If you would like to be able to do this class in the comfort of your own home please email me:

craftybirdlisa@gmail.com  or call 07823 883769

and I will dispatch the kit to you.  The cost is £18.95* for the clear mount Kit and £22.95* for the wood mount kit.  It includes all card stock etc you need to be able to make these cards.

*There is p&p on all orders.

You will need to have the butterfly and Bird builder punch in your own stash.  Or you can order these at the same time.  You can either use the scallop circle punches to cut your flowers or fussy cut these.

You can combine both classes (yesterday's and todays) and make one payment and only pay one lot of postage.

I look forward to hearing for you and as always love getting your comments.  Its means so much.

Take care

Do you believe ......................

Everyone once in a while you come across a stamp set that whittles its way into your affections.  The stamp I have used today is one of these such stamps.

I am a firm believer that if you want something bad enough, and that if you work hard enough for it, you will eventually get it, and this stamp just sums that up beautifully.

I have a great friend (Via FB) whose little girl Abi, has just taken her Grade 2 Ballet Exam.   I know from her mum the blood sweat and tears that went into the practice and more practice, right up until the day of the exam.

Abi looked gorgeous in her Mum's photos, and so I made her this card to wish her luck and to let her know that I was thinking of her.

The stamp says

"She believed she could and so she did."

This is of course from the Feel Goods set. Its so versatile. I will admit I was delighted to see it in the new catalogue, I would have been heartbroken to have had to part with it.

 Heres the front/inside view

From the very front

 and with the matching envelope

Isn't it pretty.  I have combined Crisp Canteloupe, with white card stock for the card, and have made the layers stand out by distress inking the edges.  The envelope is Baked Brown Sugar, and was handmade to match the card using the Envelope Punch Board.  The flowers are all crisp cantaloupe and have been stamped using the Flower Shop set and punched out using the pansy punch.  The little green leaves are using the petit petals punch and the long leaves on the card are from the bird punch.  I finished it off with a few glimmer gold hearts.

Talking of gold, and silver there are some amazing offers on this week in our weekly deals.

You can get these by clicking the Shop with me button below and then going to weekly deals.

Just a quick reminder about my new Blendabilities Club

Have a great day.  I hope wherever you are the sun is shining.

Thank you ............

Don't know about you guys, but I was always made to write my thank you letters at birthdays and Christmas.    As a child it always seemed a chore ....... there were so many other things I wanted to do.

And now, well, now I combine writing my thank you's with creating something wonderful.  So anyone, I have to thank always gets an individual card, cause I've made it.

Here's one I did recently for a friend, who had helped me.

This person loves Vintage and our Very Vintage Wheel was just perfect for this.  I combined it with the stunning Flowering Flourishes and an In-Colour Boutique Details Accessory to finish off.

The cardstock is Baked Brown sugar and is inked in the same colour.  I have torn very vanilla and distressed the edges.   The sentiment is from the Oh Hello stamp set.

Of course the inside had to be finished to the same standard as the outside.  So here it is.

Hope you're all having a great week and finding some time to craft.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hugs

Lisa xx

Autumn/Winter Launch ........... are you invited??

Hi guys

Where has the time gone.  Since joining Stampin Up, I have seen the launch of the New Catalogue and now it is almost time to launch the Autumn/Winter collection.  I can honestly tell you that it is amazing, there is not ONE thing in there I want.  That's because I want IT ALL.

The ideas are inspiring, the kits outstanding and the colours for Christmas, fall and halloween are divine.  From the Designer Series Papers, to complete kits to make projects.  Stamp sets, dies and much more, there is nothing that I know I wouldn't use.  I would use it all.  Have I wet your appetite?

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a few of the goodies from this launch and have been busy making samples to show you .......... there will be sneek peaks on my blog from Monday 2nd September.  Check back and keep looking ........... I guarantee you'll love it.

Anyway in order to let as many of my friends know about these products I have been busy making invites to send out to a personal viewing.  Have you received one in the post?  If so please let me know if you will be coming, and during which time slot.

There will be lots to see and lots of stuff to make and take.

The invites I made were all from the gorgeous and subtle 2013/15 In colour range and I have used the same colour ink pad on the cardstock.  I used Baked Brown Sugar, and Pistachio Pudding to start (as you can see below) but made some in each of the other 3 colours.

I used the Very Vintage Wheel to stamp, along with the OH Hello stamp set.  To finish off I made a trim at the bottom with the Scallop Edge Punch.  I just love them.  So look out in your letterbox, you may just be lucky enough to receive one.  If you don't get one and would like to come take a look at the goodies on show, drop me an email, and I can send you the details.

Hugs
