We all love a little FREE stuff ..............

and here at Stampin Up we know that, so this month we are giving you a free pack of Designer Papers when you buy three others.

I just love the papers, they are so versatile and to give you some inspiration I have up-cycled an old gift box.

I used the gorgeous Epic Day This and That paper pack.  The colours are gorgeous and the patterns blended with the shape of the box brilliantly.

I then used a Vintage button to create the centre of the flower on the top before

Using these two scallop punches to make the petals for the scrumptious flower on top of the box.

Finally I used the Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffle Stretch Trim to finish the box off.

I love it and am now using it as my Pencil/Tool box.  It houses my eraser, snips, and all my other bits and bobs brilliantly.

I hope you love it as much as I do, and that it inspires you to have a go.  Dont forget to email me or give me a call on 07823 883769 to get you supplies to recreate this box.

Hugs

Pinterest - Don't you just love it .........

Wow, I was a complete technofobe and now check me out on facebook, updating the blog regularly and now on Pinterest.  I just love it ..............

Anyway I am loving all the inspiration I am finding on Pinterest and my friends blogs and decided that I would make some lovely samples using the fantastic Stampin Up! supplies that I own.  So every week I am going to make at least one sample, CASE'ing a project I have seen.  I will let you know where I found it.  We just love to share at Stampin Up!

Anyway my first project was inspired by my great friend Traci.  Who was in turn inspired by Michelle Last.

I just loved this idea and knew that my kitchen could benefit from a shopping list board.  So I went out and found a gorgeous deep frame (with a glass front) and set to work.

I stamped whisper white cardstock with the gorgeous SWALLOWTAIL butterfly stamp .... here's the details

I stamped it in Stampin Up Classic Stamp Ink in blushing bride and pistachio pudding.
I then used the stunning Morning Post alphabet set to create the heading

Next I stamped some whisper white with the En Francais Stamp in co-ordinating colours.
I then used the Elegant Butterfly Punch and the Sizzlets Butterfly dies to cut the butterflies around the edge.  The two largest scallop circle punches were used to create the gorgeous flower in the left hand corner.  I also created a pen holder and put it behind the flowers and butterflies.  I then finished the project off with a white board marker.

I had great fun doing this project and love to use it in my kitchen.

If I have inspired you and you wish to place an order contact me on 07823 883769 or email me at craftybirdlisa@gmail.com

Cherry cobbler medallions

Hi guys.  How are you all..  Well it's really hectic here.  The wedding I made the hearts for (see previous post) is on Saturday and its all hands on deck clearing and tidying.  Not much crafty time.  But a girl needed a wedding present ...... So this is what I came up with.

Using Cherry cobbler ink, very vanilla and raspberry ripple card stock, I altered a vanilla candle and made a matching card and tag.  I have heat embossed both the cardstock and the candle.

The Card

The top of the candle

The front of the candle and the tag, the back is stamped with the sentiment Happy Day

Recipe

Cherry cobbler classic ink pad
Raspberry ripple card stock
Very vanilla card stock
1 3/4   Scallop punch
 2 3/8  Scallop punch
Happy Day stamp set for sentiment and doily medallion
Stampin Up rhinestone jewels
Clear embossing powder and heat gun
Tombow glue

I love it and can't wait to do some Christmas themed ones.
