One for the Kids

Hi everyone.  Wow, a fortnight has flown past and there's a new challenge over on the Cutie Pies Challenge Blog.

To do my card for this cute challenge I dusted off the pro markers ........... i'd forgotten how much I love playing with them and delved around in my collection of images and came up with this one.

The person I made the card for loves biscuits in any size shape or flavour ............. and would eat them all day long if given half the chance.    So the image and the sentiments worked really well.

Pop on over and have a look at the fab prize on offer.

I love this one.  Hope you guys do to.

kerry's 40th

Hi everyone, hope you are having a fab week, and enjoying the sun, but still finding time to do some fabulous crafting.

Its been very quiet here.  The kids have gone back to school after half term, so it's been peaceful.

I made this card for my friend's 40th.  She's a firewoman and "Rosie the Rivitor" is one of her heroines and an inspirational image in her life.

Hope you like it.

Sweet 16 Album

A few weeks ago I was asked to make a memory book for my daughter's friend.  She was turning sweet 16 and her Mum wanted a special present.

Her favourite colour is green and apart from that the choice was mine.  But definitely no pink ........

Anyway I put together this gorgeous memory book for her ........ hope you like it.

The papers are New Leaf by First Edition.  I just love these, they have fabulous embossing, glittering and great texture.  They work really well in this kind of project.

I used my gorgeous new Martha Stewart punch this time to make the butterfly edging.  It's just too cute.

The fantastic embellishments are from my stash and the gorgeous roses are from "I am roses".  I have coloured them with promarkers and then glittered them with stickles.

The door knob is of course the fantastic Tim Holtz.

Crafty hugs to you all
